What people use it for
Language learning (shadowing and dictation)
Repeat a single sentence until you catch every word. Slow the speed down to 0.75x or 0.5x, or add a few seconds of silence between repeats so you can say the line out loud.
Learning music by ear
Loop a fast phrase or a solo and slow it down. The pitch stays the same, so the notes are still correct.
Dance practice
Repeat the tricky part of a routine. Turn on "mirror" to see the movements as if you were facing a mirror.
Falling asleep to a favourite part
Loop the part you like and let the sleep timer stop it. The volume fades out before playback stops.
